Whether you are competing in high performance sport or you are involved with, or applying to, a demanding career such as police, fire, military or EMS then you need to be following a properly planned conditioning program in order to excel. These demanding professions and sports demand professional training. At The Nexus we don’t just train to achieve the minimum requirements; we train to put the best candidates on the court, ice, field, street, or in the desert.
We train all of our high performance sport and career athletes to be stronger, faster, more agile and powerful in order to win, no matter who or what the opponent is. With the demands of your sport or career and individual needs/concerns in mind we are able to produce a premium conditioning plan for you that is tailored to you in order to complement your busy schedule and enhance your sport skill practice, including subject control tactics (SCT) and firearms training.
Our superior conditioned athletes:
  1.  Cut and react to plays faster,
  2.  Jump higher and shoot and kick harder and farther
  3.  Are stronger in the corners and on the ball or puck etc.
  4.  Are more able to oulast their opponents in a fight.
  5.  Recover faster from bouts of high intensity activity.
At The Nexus we believe in training the movement patterns related to your chosen sport rather than just training specific muscles groups as a bodybuilder would. By overloading during these dynamic movements we increase your overall athleticism, enabling you to build the speed, acceleration, strength, power, coordination and agility you need, all with a focus on safety and injury prevention throughout training to optimize performance and minimize the chances that you'll sustain an injury.
